Candidate 1:
An outstanding HR candidate, this person has worked across a number of number of industries during her career.

After a brief career change, this candidate is ready to return to the HR world and continue making an impact on local organisations. Within the human resources space, this candidate most recently worked in a local university’s employment and payroll team. In employment she would assist with onboarding staff and attending to any contract queries they had. In payroll she has been across all facets, from implementing single touch pays to addressing deductions, Centrelink payments, integrity reporting, maternity leave and terminations.

Previously this candidate undertook a Project role with a state government organisation supporting their Independence division and undertook recruitment too.

A previous project required her to undertake significant recruitment of trades and general labour and at a large retail organisation she has undertaken a generalist and recruitment role.

Remuneration: $150,000 plus superannuation

Candidate 2:

In his previous position, this candidate leveraged knowledge management tools to cultivate a culture and behaviours within the organization that facilitated the delivery of practical HR strategies to statewide sites, aligning with their strategic plan. He fostered collaborative and open communication channels, championing knowledge-sharing initiatives that drove process improvements, positive behavior, satisfaction, and retention.

This candidate executed comprehensive HR strategies to establish programs and sites that supported communities across Victoria.

Remuneration: $110,000 plus superannuation

Candidate 4:
This candidate holds a Bachelor degree in Commerce from the University of Melbourne and has completed a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting. In addition to his academic qualifications and training, this candidate brings a broad financial industry experience, having worked in the building and construction industry, leading a high performing, growing, finance team for the last 12 years.

Beginning his accounting career at a leading accounting firm, helped him develop a broad financial foundation and a discipline that he then took into industry to grow his career. An eager accountant, wanting more autonomy, challenges and growth, he took up a position within a leading wholesaler and retail business, which largely trades within the building and construction industry.

During his time with this company, he created a strong financial team of dedicated, high performing individuals, created streamline financial reporting functions and systems which were timely and easily readable for stakeholders, managed key stakeholder relationships with lawyers, key suppliers and customers, financial institutions, and government regulators. This candidate is also responsible for the budgeting and forecasting processes across the business. As part of his role, he provides support to the executive team and works closely with the CEO in making strategic/commercial decisions by creating detailed business cases to continue to help grow the business in a challenging time for the industry.

Remuneration: $130,000 plus superannuation

Candidate 5:
This candidate is a wonderful candidate looking for his next challenge in his career. With over 3 years’ experience in finance and recently completed his Masters of Professional Accounting he is eager to build his accounting profile.

He is a very approachable and personable candidate that strives for excellence in all the work his does, with a high level of attention to detail and strong work ethic this candidate would deliver high quality work.

Candidate 6:
An enthusiastic and very personable candidate looking to continue growing his career, this candidate has excellent customer services skills, experience in financial services and an openness to learn and grow within an organisation. With experience as an Administrative Assistant and Accounting Assistant, this candidate has financial skills and relationship building abilities, striving for excellence for the benefit of his customers and clients.

Prior to working in Geelong, this candidate completed his Graduate Diploma of Management (2021), Master of Accounting (2017) and Bachelor of Commerce.

He has managed bank reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, profit and loss journal entry, GST calculations and coding utilising MYOB, QuickBooks and XERO, as well as assisting Senior Management in preparing Year End reports.

His ideal role would be within a local, Geelong company, where he can grow his financial and customer service skills, and progress through the organisation.

Remuneration: $90,000 plus superannuation
